Egerton Park Arts College, Motor Impaired Resource Base and Visually Impaired Resource Base-one of the most well-known centres for arts and drama in Manchester support Theatre Royal Onward.

Astley High School, Dukinfield fully support the restoration of the Theatre to a standard that will allow flexibility for different productions. They would undoubtedly make use of the facilities and giving pupils valuable opportunities of being involved in theatre work during the evenings.

Longdendale High School Hollingworth Cheshire have been awarded the Arts Mark Silver Award by the Arts Council of England in recognition of their thriving Expressive and Performing Arts faculty and would like to present larger productions at the Theatre Royal. A group of pupils undertook a project in English and sent off twenty letters to Dame Julie Andrews to ask if she would consider being a Patron, expressing their own views as to why Hyde needs such a community facility.

Alder Community School offers GCSE Theatre Studies as an option for older pupils, which is proving very popular and a Theatre in the community would greatly enrich the curriculum.
